“Esprit d’escalier” in a nutshell… and it’s how my brain works. (Can never get a good zinger in at the right time.)

OT: It’s been nice to be egtting so much attention for ‘Santa vs Dracula’ before it’s even offically released, but everything they say about Hollywood/entertainement is true. :( It’s making me lose faith in humanity. I’d rahter see it unproduced then take part in such a corrupt system. That said though, the book is still good. If you like ‘My Cage’ and dig Sam Rami-type fun action, you can pick it up here at Amazon Anyone have any idea how to go around ‘Hollywood’? Let me know. :(

To go around Hollywood, CA, if you are arriving at LAX, would be to take I-105 east to the I-605 north to I-210 west

Hollywood isn’t the only place. Canada has very good animated productions. Check them out as well. Very prolific.

We had a Canadian animation company interested in working with us. Oddly, they, like a lot of people in Hollywood, had blinders on about finding “the next Spongbob” so they wantes stuff that is geared mostly at 6-11 year olds. When this happens, I point out we have a few pitches, but more alnong the line of adult swim, and they don’t even want to hear them. Then we pitch kids shows and they pass. I don’t blame them. It’s not what we do, but I don’t get why they don’t want to hear the teens and up pitches. We have a few of those. It’s a nutty business.

Cartoon Network gave us the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. It was so good it got canceled at least once and brought back. My kind of show. Like Bullwinkle and Rocky. Seems on the surface good for young ones yet has depth that adults can find and laugh at.

I would not want to be trying. I have heard stories. Also I see good series get canceled for no good reason too.
