I should get my computer back today. In the meantime I’m still on Michael’s. Not much else is happening today. M is over in the hot tub and I’m entertaining the (sleeping) cats.
The tech from the RV place finally got here last night about 6. He didn’t fix the HDMI cable, but he did correct the coaxial cable and we now get the proper signal to the TV. It seems that Winnebago installed the coax system through a switch box and some after-market “upgrades” were made changing the connection to an HDMI cable. Those cables are notoriously fragile, and constant in and out of the slide-out plus up and down of the retractable TV has damaged it. The original Winnebago installation still works, and we are not overly concerned about HD quality so we’re happy. The tech (who is a certified technician for “entertainment” systems on Winnebagos) said that in the 20 years he has been working on these things, he has never seen an HDMI setup like the one we had last more than a few months.
Good morning, Vagabonds.

Everyone have a blessed day.
