    Hi there!
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out Mulligan! I appreciate it!

For those comic buffs out there, what you’ve seen up to this point are the original 30 strips I submitted to the syndicates back at the end of February 2013. Mulligan was a challenge thrown out by my daughter as a New Year’s Resolution for 2013. I spent a few weeks thinking of the theme and then over the course of 2-3 weeks, drew the 30 strips you’ve seen to date so far. Universal Uclick offered me an online contract in mid April, about 6 weeks after submitting to them.

The pace of 2 strips per week was PAINFULLY slow for me, so from this point on I’ve been working to provide 3 strips a week, 3 days in a row (T,W,H). Yes, they will still be B&W. As they told me when I started, “Don’t quit your day job!” I haven’t. So on top of designing toys, doing contract illustrations and teaching Industrial Design, I squeeze Mulligan in when I can.

FYI, I don’t really read the comments, but my daughter will point out some of the more interesting or offending ones from time-to-time. If you really want to contact me, you can at

Thanks again! Oh! And as a heads up, I’ve been focusing on a more “insane/Don Quixote” Mulligan of late.
    Enjoy! -Pete
