I certainly won’t be gaining 12 pounds when I visit the dentist on Wednesday…

Diets kill (fat)! Belly-flab naturally seeks to defend itself; self-preservation is the first directive.
And the doctor seems a bit at a loss hearing Moonie’s explanation. In fact, he looks like doctors I have known….

“Belly-flab naturally seeks to defend itself; ….”

That’s actually a true fact. (Fat is considered an organ, which secretes hormones that make it difficult for us to lose fat by dieting.)

Borborygmus. One of my favorite words.

My fat cells have become very good friends with my body. Darn.

What we eat is our diet. It isn’t some special short term eating regimen.

The food processors have studied what puts us into the bliss mode and make sure it is in the “foods” they process. Why obesity is rampant, a logical out come of what corporations are doing to get us to eat their food.

So, NG, can I assume you live in a cabin in the woods and eat only what you grow or kill? Tell me, where did you learn your anti-corporation prejudice? Seriously I’ve had numerous occasions to ask that question in comics comments and not one person has ever answered.

NG was just stating what he knows. I do my best to avoid the wrong kinds of food. I have a garden and put fruit and vegetables away for winter use. At one time I raised rabbits for the freezer. Yet I was still subject to the growth hormones in their food pellets. They got the weeds from my garden and vegetable peelings from the house.

Vets always recommend pellets (because they are probably as ignorant as many doctors about nutrition).
