That first movie was the remake of Footloose.

I love to see a grown clown cry like a blubbery baby. Genius, Monty!

You think I’m a clown? You think I’m here to amuse you?

    The Tears of a Clown.

Monty should’ve augmented the fountain with an onion or two.

How about “A.I.”? Most depressing movie ever!

I never watch movies that I know are sad (no matter HOW many awards they won). Crying makes my eyes and nose all red. I need to go peel some garlic cloves for my breakfast.

“How about “A.I.”? Most depressing movie ever!”

Have you never seen Tim Roth’s “The War Zone”?
Lars von Trier’s “Dancer In the Dark”?
    Charlie Kaufman’s “Synecdoche, New York”?

All candidates for the “Slit-Your-Wrists Film Festival.”

The first one must have been Bambi.

Have heard this. Absolutely awful. I just don’t understand how the military could do this…. Oh, forgot for a second that the very nature of war is inhumane.

I loved The War Zone, though it was really difficult to watch.

My candidate for the most depressing movie would be Gaspar Noe’s Seul Contre Tous (I Stand Alone)

For tearjerkers, get a good supply of kleenex and watch After The Promise, a TV movie starring Mark Harmon, the 1954 animated version of the Animal Farm…

…and of course the mother of tearjerkers, The Champ, starring Jon Voight.
