I went to Cheesequake Stat Park, near the GS Parkway. The coords are near the parking lot. A geocache is nearby, if it wasn’t vaporized by accident.

You guys are pikers. I know that my house (in CT) is roughly 42 degrees N, and 075deg W. One degree of latitude is 60 miles; so I said, Hey! That’s NJ!

…heh. So much for my showing off: 072deg W is where I’m at.
    .
And at this latitude, one degree of longitude is roughly 35 miles.

No, Jorah, you are misinterpreting how to convert from degrees, arcminutes, and arcseconds (i.e., dº m’ s") to coordinates in just degrees in decimal notation.

    Not a degree per mile.
    It’s a minute a mile.
    360 * 60 = 21600 which is 13% short of the 24,900 mile circumference of the Earth.
