You’re actually starting to get the idea. Now if you could only forget about your political agenda, stated in the last three sentences,
you would have a worthy goal to try for.

Sadly, ignoring any SciFi solutions of Ark ships to the stars to remove the excess population, we really need Mother Nature to have a successful pandemic or three to reduce mans population to sustainable levels. Combine that with a shift in humans unnatural thinking that we have to live as long a possible and we start to have a model for life that is more in harmony with the world around us.
When we as a species reach the point of maturity that we can be content with a cycle of life that basically consists of the following:
Being born, some certain number growing to reproductive age, finding a mate willing to carry our genes, live long enough to raise our progeny, and die. Then we might survive as a species and also not kill off the rest of the planet.
If we could attain a sustainable population number that allows us to primarily live in the tropic and subtropical zones with out the dependency on technology you need to survive in the other less hospitable climate zones there would be less stress to acquire resources from other regions. This in turn should help foster a more benign attitude, amongst different groups of people.
At this point, an awful lot of this political hogwash, that you and others keep carrying on about, and which has no bearing at all on our threatened survival as a species, become merely intellectual exercises, with no applicable use to our existence.

All moot. The coming technological Singularity will result in the sudden evolution of our species to an unrecognizable form, merged with, or supplanted by AI. Current ossues will become irrelevant and trivial.

I am aware and agree. Tough I can go with 3 billion. 5oo million seems too small.

We could limit our population gently and humanly. But we are still too stupid as a species. Still a Type Zero civilization. Until we can do that we are heading for an earth where the average temperature at the very wide equator would be 120-144 degrees F.

Humans want what Nature does not give us. Longevity, sensory and intellectual stimulation and comfort. Even so we still need some strife to live. Exploration would cover that. Better than wars and attempts to control the human species under a boot heel of steel.

helpful plants like weeds, ivy, vines, kudzu, etc are doing their best to help us deal with so much CO2… they’re growing as fast as they can but we keep pulling them up!

Is it your purpose in life to just incite others? After reviewing some of your other posts, not one seems to offer any worthwhile or constructive ideas to the discussion. How sad it must be to go through life, when your only talent and purpose in life is to demean others. Your questions about my post show no other purpose other than that.

Foods like corn are growing stunted. Kudzu we can eat but no one is.

Always those who are against any limits on our out of control reproduction are the first to champion extermination. Why is that? I’m all for limiting births—-among the richer people since they are the ones that consume huge quantities of resources and produce the most waste, not the poor.

Well as the climate continues to change, get more violent and more heat accumulates to agitate it many will start dying. Those who can still move will move. It will be its own kind of disaster when the legion of the poor hungry, thirsty and suffering go to places not in that position will the wars start. Horrible wars atrocities unparalleled in our violent blood soaked history. Immigration will be stopped. Freedom will go the way of waste of energy an resources. Plus any diseases that become pandemics. (We are past due on one now.) It will be a terrible time.
    -
Something we could have avoided but we are too stupid and greedy as a species to stop it. Nature has a way. But Nature is a force that has no feelings or conscience or empathy. It is we who must have it. But there are the power brokers who don’t. Who live such insulated lives that the rest of us are alien to them. Not them. They will be cruel.

I forgot, an estimated 100,000 die every year due to climate change alone. It will get worse. Droughts, floods, famine, pestilence all work together.
