Yes just look at it in every despotic nation from China to Chile. In China they have their own businesses and work for the elites and are elites themselves. Too easy to call any group of thugs “the People’s Army.” Way too easy.

Our immediate task is to increase our capacity, to build the organizations that together can be powerful enough to overcome the capitalists’ accumulated forces of lies, wealth and arms.

Liberation is possible, and, more to the point, necessary for the survival and well-being of all life on this Earth. It’s up to us to make it happen.

Can I take it from this strip that you don’t think the general public should be forbidden firearms, or is this just to paint a picture?

I don’t speak for Stephanie, but I would say yes to both.
Whatever it takes. Non-violence is the preffered option, however.

‘Those who live by the sword shall perish by the sword’ say the Scriptures, and it may well be that in the progress of events the working class of Ireland may be called upon to face the stern necessity of taking the sword (or rifle) against the capitalist class…"

But your scripture promotes lots of swords etc for the final battle. How does that square with your pronouncement?

First they came for the capitalists,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a captalist.

Then they came for the Republicans,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Republican.

Then they came for the democrats,
    and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a democrat.

    Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.

Look what one nutcase with a gun in an kindergarten school can do. Just think of arming every nutcase in the name of the revolution.
