Groan! Wonder how she is going to try and show how this chart only applies to a capitalist society?

She seems to be stuck in the 19th century – I mean, expropriation of land?

Yes, but I would trade that for having a comments section put back on Pibgorn.

    “exploitation of labor” ???
I want am now looking for a new job and career. but at no time after I signed on the dotted line have I been “exploited” I did the job I signed up for, did it well, and now I am moving on and up!

“technology escalation” is a good thing. Before the car the horse was the biggest pollution and resource concern. Before the car people where worried that horses where eating to much and getting rid of the waste was a big health problem.Another Tech advance is in how we grow food. Great strides have been made in the production of food. We have kind of gone full circle with ethanol. It takes more gas and resources to produce then a gallon of gas. The MPG is lower and kills small motors. Yet it is green. But how is this war on the car going to bring about the next big thing? Starving the horse did not bring about the car.

Since the strip isn’t funny anymore, it IS fun to goof on her naïveté"
It serve a propose of showing us just how the loony left have been taken over by the man bad global warming religion. You want to see who is on the edge and what they might support. Just read her back stories and see what she believes in and what she blames.

LOL. Was that cart of gibberish supposed to mean something? Eh, why should Marxist charts be any less inane than Marxist dogma?

Yes expropriation of land today where imminent domain is used to facilitate corporate profits. In 2012 get educated.

Liberals and other understood that ethanol was a dead end. And rightly so. But yet Cons still promote it. Why?

It is hard to find a new job much less a new career. Hope you have it first. Good fortune to you on that in this Depression.

I noticed that in Fearless Fosdick in ‘Lil Abner when thousands were killed somehow to you and yours it "wasn’t the same" so which is it?

What do you know about Marx & Engles anyway? You attack it in every way but substantially. Go to it show us where it is wrong. I dare you.

    @Ms. Ima

I’m talking about in the present US of A and imminent domain being used for corporate Capitalists sake. That you didn’t disagree with so you know I’m right and so is Stephanie. You just don’t want to acknowledge that.

I guess the revolution isn’t meant to be comprehended. What do the arrows represent? What is supposed to be moving from stage to stage? What is accumulated, what is eliminated? Why do the ‘externalization of costs’ feed INTO this loop, not out of it?
    .
This looks less like a graphical explanation and more like a circle-jerk of Marxish shibboleths. It goes nowhere, does nothing, can’t explain anything — including its own self-referential self. I note in passing that Stephanie didn’t bother to offer even a nonsensical explanation. I guess she thinks it makes sense. Sure would like to know what that sense looks like. At this point, it looks like profound mental constipation. Nothing moves, though it looks like it’s supposed to.

Here’s an extremely simplified, and necessarily incomplete representation of capitalism’s basic structure. Since this is a cycle—the ultimate vicious cycle—we can start at any point.

    Elaboration to start Monday…
