However this strip proves this saying wrong as socialists use reality created in their mind’s eye to validate their actions and paint all that oppose them as enemies.

So McMillan admits to living in an alternative reality…

Reality is an illusion brought on by an alcohol deficiency.

Reality is vastly overrated. Give me a good fantasy anytime. Hey, it works for our government.

An important point! May this realization be your first step away from a flawed and dangerous ideology whose failure to account for reality has led it to tyrannize and oppress those who it controls.

Pretty slick mental gymnastics performed here by a Marxist who refuses to grasp reality as it exists on its own.

True, though reality is much larger and deeper than we can see and experience it. We have some tools that allow us to see more but it really comes down to the reality tunnels we use. Each not exactly the same as the next person.

I see the same with those who stick to the flawed and dangerous ideology that the market place can solve all problems which it does with hideous results.

I haven’t seen the people you talk about. Those free-market proponents I know of consider the market only one aspect of human life and expect people to solve some problems (and pursue some aspirations) through other social institutions. Notably, the nature of some of these institutions may differ from individual to individual as people choose their manner of living.

This is notably different from the philosophy McMillan advocates, in which there is one system that is expected to address every issue of life, and which jealously restricts any institution that might threaten to compete with its power.

I see them and hear them and watch what they do all of the time. I don’t know how you miss them. Started in recent time with Reagan and has been plaguing this country ever since.
