These are the folks that think the Moon Landings were fake, but WWE Wrestling is real!

“Of course I don’t believe the Earth is flat! It has mountains and things. But only a cultist would believe that it’s ROUND.”
    .
Climate change denial is a very profitable business. If it hasn’t been stamped out by thirty years of scientific proof that human activity is warming the Earth, it won’t go away this time either. The only thing to do is ignore climate change deniers, expose their funding from the Koch Bros and co., and stop giving them credibility by pretending that “balance” is required in every news story, no matter how unbalanced the facts.

The Bible has all the science that about a third of the American population needs. Doesn’t bode well for people who are so elite that they think for themselves.

Certainly is a well drawn cartoon.
The Bible tells us that the world is not very old nor will it last much longer. That justifies using it up. There will not be more generations. No matter what the evidence.

Yes climate change. Something that is human caused. No, wait………

    http://www.aip.org/history/climate/cycles.htm

Ok climate change something that is “influenced” by humans. And nothing else. no wait….

    http://earthguide.ucsd.edu/virtualmuseum/climatechange2/06_3.shtml

OK there are a lot of things that influence the climate.

Come on guys. Yes, we have climate change. Yes, we have an effect on our environment. Yes, we can influence it. Yes, we need to find new and better sources of energy.

But please, quit equating spiritual values, and belief in an more intelligent superior being as being stuck in some dark age mentality. Unless, of course, you believe that homo sapiens (“wise” man? really?) is the epitome of evolution and nothing else exists in the known or unknown universe that exceeds our intelligence or scientific advancement.

And the biblical explanation of the creation of the earth is fitting for the audience that received it. And after all, what is time to a being that has always been in existence. Who is to say what length of time relative to our perspective took place within the “day” division between “creative” events? YOU?

    http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/question.php?number=45

WE have a “best guess” from our scientists that I am willing to accept until our knowledge base is expanded and – ONCE AGAIN – the conclusions change. I’m good with that.

Want to show me? Here look at this. Not just a big black dot with proof of nothing.

Just a few of the almost 2 million hits on the subject. BUT DON"T FRET! It isn’t a “denial” of Global climate change". In fact it’s is an affirmation of that fact.

I read the Kevin Long paper. It was about sun spots and had no mentioning of greenhouse gases whatsoever. Is your point that it’s OK to fill up our atmosphere with greenhouse gases because the sun has cycles? Specifically: what then is the plan when the sun cycles up again?

OK to fill up our atmosphere with greenhouse gases because the sun has cycles?

It is so cold today because the green house gas H2O is blocking the sun. If it where sunnier It would be at least 5 degrees warmer today. At least it is not to windy, you see if the sun was warming the land there would be a difference in temperatures and that would cause the wind.

No my brother, I am pointing out that there are many different views as to what causes the climate to change, how rapidly it changes, whether or not it is part of a cycle, has it happened before, did it ever cool off before and so on.

The whole controversy was manufactured to help certain people make money.

There is not now or never has there been any doubt that the climate is changing. Warming and cooling cycles are the norm. The controversy of man made warming by our greenhouse gas emission is political – to allow more control by governments over energy costs – and commercial – so that someone (al gore ) can buy and sell carbon credits that do absolutely nothing to limit greenhouse gases but do a lot to fill pockets with cold hard cash.

Open your mind. Right and Left should have nothing to do with it. People by their very existence affect their environment. The earth is “designed” to have “climate change”. The oceans produce tons of CO2 as well. Here read this:

    http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/gases.html

Now think about how many and what they do naturally. Yes, we have changed the “natural” cycle unless you consider humans as natural and then it is just more natural stuff.

Hmmm “peer” review. Is that where a scientist wanting to be approved by his “peers’ writes a report or does a study that supports the view of those he wants approval from?

No ’K”, I do not ignore the vast majority of scientist that say the climate is changing. Why? Because it is.

But since all you want is to garner praise from your “peers” and not discuss a wide and divergent plethora of ideas from a broad spectrum of scientific disciplines … you can tell yourself you are a winner.

    What do I know anyway?
