Perennial political pooh passing, the “American way”. Limit campaigning and fund raising to not more than 90 days prior to elections. Electronic media make the “old system” an antique, no excuse for constant campaigning.

For once, I agree with you, Trout. I’m tired of all the lies the Romney ads are putting out there.

I really like the artwork here. The art-deco styled America Diner is a brilliant reference to the American spirit.

You know who came up with the concept of “constant campaigning”, right? No other then Karl Rove! Also the inventor of Super-PACs and all the stuff they can do to your cerebrum during election season. If there is any justice in the world there will be a new, incurable and painful disease that only befalls him…

I wonder, do these places still exist? I’ve seen some in games and movies, but that has nothing to say…

“Karl Rove! Also the inventor of Super-PACs "" Proof please.

As if the elections ever end. I’m already hearing about candidates for 2016.

There are very few left. The fast food chains drove them out of business. Ironicly, there is a chain restaurant in my area designed to mimic the old-style diners. It isn’t the same.

It’s nearly impossible to “proof” this. Who gave “Citizens United” the idea for “Corporations are people”? But being “Bush’s brain” would fit in neatly with such skullduggery. So let my reformulate: “Super-PACs are – in all likelihood, at least partially – the brainchild of Karl Rove”. Better?

Obama is still running the ad The Washington Post— a left leaning paper— gave 3 Pinnochios over 2 weeks ago. You might want to rethink your propoganda.
