Needless to say, it is impossible to attribute any one weather event specifically to global warming. But the global climate showing increased instability, more (and more severe) storms and weather extremes like heat, the changing geographic distribution of storms and storm paths, all are undeniable. And the process is being pushed along by man-made atmospheric emissions that are trapping more of the sun’s energy in our atmosphere as heat. To deny it, and worse, to refuse to do anything about solving and possibly eventually reversing the process, is suicidal and criminal.
