Well, you have to have SOMETHING to keep FAUX “News” ratings up there…
Yes, there was “Spin Doctoring” by the Administration, but when has there NOT been “Spin Doctoring” by whatever administration was in office?
    “I am not a crook”
“I did not have sex with that woman”
    “Mission accomplished”
    And on, and on…and on…and on…and on…

The email lists the following two goals, among others:

“To underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy.”

“To reinforce the President and Administration’s strength and steadiness in dealing with difficult challenges.”

Four Americans died because of political incompetence and all the Democrats can do is cry “Move on”.

Lukovich draws a better than average Issa— that unique combination of malevolence, narcissism, and stupidity….

It is either beat on Benghazi for another year and a half or vote another 50 times to revoke the ACA. The conservatives don’t have any real accomplishments after stonewalling everything in Congress for the last half a dozen years.

He’s the newest Republican strategist. They hired him after Karl Rove’s head exploded on election night on live T.V.
Whenever the Republicans run out of things to complain about they just yell “Ben Ghazi”, and he stirs up another tempest in a "Tea"pot!

Yes four Americans died and death is tragic. These things do happen as we have seen many times over the last few decades. Americans dead due to politicians locating them on the world stage runs into the tens of thousands. If
you want to demonstrate your outrage go ahead but encompass the whole of those who have died for our politicians.

Remember how you protested the 50 or so embassy deaths under Bush? Just do the same thing now that you did then. It worked so well.

Thousands of Americans (and many others) died because of Republican incompetence in the last 12 years. I didn’t see you guys on the Right complaining about that or asking for anyone’s head on a plate.

    Here you go. Something to chew on…;

The Benghazi attacks (the consulate and the CIA compound) are absolutely not unprecedented even though they’re being treated that way by Republicans who are deliberately ignoring anything that happened prior to Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009.

January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.

June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al Qaeda attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.

October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of “Bali Bombings.” No fatalities.

February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.

May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al Qaeda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.

July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.

December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.

March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. (I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name “David Foy.” This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what’s considered American soil.)

September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar” storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.

January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.

March 18, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.

July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.

September 17, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.

Something about “People living in Glass Houses Not Throwing Stones” comes to mind about now…

“Nobody can seem to TELL me.”

State Department Accountability Review Board-Report of The Independent Panel on Best Practices

    Pickering report

NPR interview of Pickering, Hicks, and Thompson

U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence-Review of the Terrorist Attacks on U.S Facilities in Benghazi, Libya, September 11-12 2012

The Inman Report (Released in 1985) outlines recommendations on security-what should have been done in Benghazi but wasn’t.

    DOD testimony transcripts.

The State Department was grossly negligent in providing security for Benghazi and compounded the problem by probably lying to the President and possibly the Sec State.
