    @onguard,
    Well, of course, that’s one take on it. Most of the rest of the population, however, recognizes the difference between going along with a program/proposition and “pressing to do so”. It’s called, among other things, “democracy”; where both sides arrive at a modus vivendi, and there is opposition and dissent as well. Too bad you never learned basic civics.

    @Goofy-Harley,
    Again, your jealousy shows through. A Democrat JUST MIGHT get to be a leader, instead of a blood-lusting Republican; and that’s . . . just . . . terrible for you. Isn’t it?

    I’m really impressed by the dedication of research required to compile that list. I KNEW it wasn’t
    Bush and buddies. They were forced, against their will, to attack Iraq, by all the the Democratic war lords. And, as I remember, Cheney was against it, too.

    Then he must have been the greatest politician ever to fool that many so thoroughly for that long.

    48 republicans who voted for the lies’
    Bias much?
    yep,
    again If Bush “lied” then he must have been the greatest lair, even better then Clinton because bush also had 51 Nations behind him. Obama can only muster France to stand by him. You want to talk about Lies? “Spontaneous and YouTube” were flat out provable Lies. Or let us how about the the present mess Obama has gotten us into. Obama has flat out LIED that he did not draw the red line. Or how about how is it that Putin has PROVEN our Secretary of State is a LIAR when it come to Syera.
    Better watch your propaganda. You have yet to prove that Bush KNEW that something was untrue Then went out of his way to make sure no one knew it was untrue, then made everyone believe that they were voting for something that he knew was untrue. I can Prove Obama Lied! Kerry is just flat out Wrong!

    “I have to say that this is something I have followed for more than a decade…

    If he was serious about disarming, he would have been much more forthcoming coming. There may be progress, we may be destroying the Samoud missiles, but there is no accounting for the chemical and biological stocks…

    Now I also believe that for now nearly 20 years the principal reason why women and children in Iraq have suffered is because of his leadership. His not only tyrannical and dictatorial leadership, but his reign of terror against women and children. And it is a — it is a very unfortunate situation for the Iraqi people that they have been so horribly misgoverned for so long…

    And the very difficult question for all of us is how does one bring about the disarmament of someone with such a proven track record of a commitment if not an obsession with weapons of mass destruction. And I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information and intelligence that I had available, talking with people whose opinions I trusted, trying to discount political or other factors that I didn’t believe should be in any way a part this decision…”

    Millions of people around the world demonstrated AGAINST believing "W"s lies on invading Iraq. My Senator Wyden, who knew the real intelligence but wasn’t able by “Senate Committee Rules” to expose the real known truth at the time, voted against all the actions.

    “Mechanics” details are much more relevant, along with the massive hype from the media, and Republicans’ BS at the time, that a vote against invasion was equated with treason!

    Interfering in cvil wars has never benefitted U.S. interests, in actuality. We should have had a united INTERNATIONAL ACTION, including NATO and UN actions, against Assad’s DAD, long ago. Day late and dollar short is the fact of any action today.

    BTW, showing the humanitarian efforts of Lebanon, Iraq, and Jordan to care for refugees is shown regularly on Al Jazeera America, but hardly mentioned in MSM, or Faux. Had we acted two, or ten, years ago on Syria, much would have been avoided.

    “Crisis of the day”, has been U.S. “diplomacy” for three decades now, and usually means bombing someone, and that is NOT “diplomacy”.

    The intelligence was there, if he, as the President of the United States of America, argued to be the most power man in the world, chose not to know, be told or review the intelligence that disagreed with his predetermined objective, that is no excuse for him not knowing what he was trumpeting to the world was false"
    So you are saying that Bush was the greatest political genius of all time. You are saying he knew it was untrue and managed to trick the world for that long. You are also saying he did not “lie” he just did not want the “truth” Really? So your truth was out there and Bush managed to squash it down and get everyone to believe his story that was a lie?
    Face it, either you think Bush was a political genius or you are the one with the lies to smear the other side.
