I’m really impressed by the dedication of research required to compile that list. I KNEW it wasn’t
Bush and buddies. They were forced, against their will, to attack Iraq, by all the the Democratic war lords. And, as I remember, Cheney was against it, too.

I’m sure it was an “innocent” error, but your list left out EVERY Repubilcan Senator.

    @Rad-ish

Obama lied and people lost their jobs, houses and savings. And our military continue to die after 5 years of our “Glorious Leader”.

“I have to say that this is something I have followed for more than a decade…

If he was serious about disarming, he would have been much more forthcoming coming. There may be progress, we may be destroying the Samoud missiles, but there is no accounting for the chemical and biological stocks…

Now I also believe that for now nearly 20 years the principal reason why women and children in Iraq have suffered is because of his leadership. His not only tyrannical and dictatorial leadership, but his reign of terror against women and children. And it is a — it is a very unfortunate situation for the Iraqi people that they have been so horribly misgoverned for so long…

And the very difficult question for all of us is how does one bring about the disarmament of someone with such a proven track record of a commitment if not an obsession with weapons of mass destruction. And I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information and intelligence that I had available, talking with people whose opinions I trusted, trying to discount political or other factors that I didn’t believe should be in any way a part this decision…”

Millions of people around the world demonstrated AGAINST believing "W"s lies on invading Iraq. My Senator Wyden, who knew the real intelligence but wasn’t able by “Senate Committee Rules” to expose the real known truth at the time, voted against all the actions.

“Mechanics” details are much more relevant, along with the massive hype from the media, and Republicans’ BS at the time, that a vote against invasion was equated with treason!

Interfering in cvil wars has never benefitted U.S. interests, in actuality. We should have had a united INTERNATIONAL ACTION, including NATO and UN actions, against Assad’s DAD, long ago. Day late and dollar short is the fact of any action today.

BTW, showing the humanitarian efforts of Lebanon, Iraq, and Jordan to care for refugees is shown regularly on Al Jazeera America, but hardly mentioned in MSM, or Faux. Had we acted two, or ten, years ago on Syria, much would have been avoided.

“Crisis of the day”, has been U.S. “diplomacy” for three decades now, and usually means bombing someone, and that is NOT “diplomacy”.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? Clinton said she did an independent investigation and talked with her own experts. Somehow I doubt they were members of the Bush Administration. Plus her husband was the ex-President. If you don’t think her capable of making her own determination without being duped by Boooosh, then I would suggest you not vote for her in 2016.

Tigger, I pointed out MY “key Democratic Senator” DID vote against going into Iraq, because he knew the truth. Where were all the “key” REPUBLICANS, who also knew W , Cheney, and yes, Powell, were LYING, voting NO WAY!! ?

“Wherein what you quoted, presumably excerpted and edited for maximum negative effect, did Clinton claim she had an independent investigation?”

“I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information and intelligence that I had available, talking with people whose opinions I trusted, trying to discount political or other factors that I didn’t believe should be in any way a part this decision…”

Plus I gave you the complete transcript and video. What do you give except opinion?

“And when was this supposed investigation conducted? By whom and how?”

I would suppose by her. She is, after all, a Senator. But you’d have to ask her. Again, she was explaining her vote to Code Pink.

As for her running or not in 2016, every liberal pontificator opines she will run, not just those on the right. And you never did say whether you’d support her or not.

Speaking of editing, I noticed your edited quote: “the day of September 20, 2001 when baby bush stated, in an address to a joint session of Congress on said, “Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.” left out who he was addressing. He was addressing other Nations, not Congress. More specifically, he was addressing al Qaeda and any Nation that harbors them. The full quote is ”Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.” Nobody complained that Congress was “acting un-patriotic” until they voted for the War, and then threatened to de-fund the effort while our men and women were on the battlefield. So don’t re-write history. And remember, he was talking about Afghanistan, the War Obama calls “the just war”.
