Lots of people are getting REALLY tired of the Israelis, and their “Oh, we have suffered SO much throughout history, look at Germany in WW2, and ever since in the Mid-East!” line of fabricated “Martyrdom”!
We are all supposed to feel SO sorry for them, and give them WHATEVER they want, to make up for their “Suffering”!
    GET OVER IT!!

The Jews have suffered more than many other peoples, masterskrain. Especially one particular group of people here in the States who really like play the race card and have people believe that THEY are the most persecuted in history.

The Israelis are doing no different with their settlements than what we did to the native americans with ours. Now the native tribes are confined to small “reservations”.

Being the victim of a crime does not entitle you to commit that crime on others.

My own questions revolve around the constant use of the phrase, “defense of Israel” – especially when white phosphorus shells are launched against women and children in Gaza, and special care is taken to bomb, and destroy, the facilities of the Red Cross, and the available ambulances – which Red Cross facilities, and ambulances, were, at the time, WELL KNOWN to be not only there solely for humanitarian purposes, but also, to be ABSOLUTELY FREE from any and all Palestinian combatants, snipers, or insurgents. Etc. Etc. So Forth. Throughout the whole of the Jewish occupation of the former territory of Palestine.

That kind of blatant hypocrisy is, really, very OFFENSIVE, to say the least.

When I was in college, 40 years ago: an Arab student I knew told me then, that was the fear of Arabs about Jewish resettlement.. At that time I thought that was absurd. Today,… I fully understand their concern.

OK fine. Quit launching rockets and as the “settlements” grow, move into them and live side by side peacefully. No bus bombings, no suicide vests in the marketplace, no calls for the extermination of the Jews, no calls to drive them into the sea.

    Just a thought.

Ah! Yes! The ages old response to a ruthless aggressor, whose fundamental policies of genocide are directed to the extermination of the native population in the lands being occupied: Just lie down, roll over, present your throat for the knife, or bayonet, and die off “peacefully”. After all, “Might makes Right”; and an obscure, ages old, nasty little tribal idol gave the occupation forces a “Title Deed in Perpetuity” to whatever they could conquer – or at least, so says the conqueror’s mythology book.

I wouldn’t know what challah bread was, except that in this over 55 community a volunteer gets bread from Publix grocery stores and leaves it at the clubhouse for us to use for free. Sometimes free stuff from Sweetbay, too.

While I am not really anti Semitic nor pro Arabic in any manner, there is something that has always bothered me about the Jewish original take over of Palestine in 1948 and up to now. Were the original Arabic people that owned the land that is now Israel ever actually compensated for their
land? Here in the US even if a city claims imminent domain for some worthy project, the original owners of that land are compensated for their land (even if it is not at current market price, it is at least something), was this ever done by the Jewish people (and in particular their leadership) for the Arabs that were originally displaced?
    Just wondering, is all!
