Yep, that would be my state. And Governor Goodhair won’t seek a 4th term, thank God. And, continuing the good news, he WILL run for the GOP nomination for prez again, assuring us of major comic relief during the annual Texas Drought for 2016.

??? Fetuses have so many lobbyists spreading TONS of money around, you’d think Scrooge McDuck was funding the anti-choice movement.

If a fetus isn’t a baby, why are those who kill pregnant women charged with two murders? If you haven’t experienced an operation on a fetus and seen the tiny hand move and suck its thumb, then perhaps you are not really aware of the beauty of life.

A lot of you are missing the point altogether. It is NOT a matter of pro-choice / anti-choice. Face up to the actual fact that if we don’t start trying to reduce the number of people being born, we will condemn our children, and our children’s children, to a dying world.
Overpopulation is the biggest threat – and a whole lot of people apparently can’t see the forest for the trees.
Please try to educate yourselves about the dangers of Overpopulation – to the entire planet.

A disgusting lump of protoplasm. That describes a fetus with gills and a tail, or a redumblican CONgressman.

Depends on how far along she was in the pregnancy.

“Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren’t they? They’re all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you’re born, you’re on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don’t want to know about you. They don’t want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you’re preborn, you’re fine; if you’re preschool, you’re f**ked.”

“No serious scholar sees overpopulation as a threat anymore.”

If by scholars you mean Bible Thumpers then I totally agree with you.

I don’t remember who said it, but it’s classic:
“Texas, where they don’t believe in abortion, but they love the death penalty.
It’s like I’m out fishing, catch one, but it’s too small, so I toss it back so I can kill it when it’s bigger.”

    Hey, here’s a great idea for all of you who are so anti-abortion;
MAKE BIRTH CONTROL CHEAP AND VERY EASY TO OBTAIN!
But the anti-abortion crowd won’t support that because their ultimate goal isn’t saving lives, it’s making sure “sluts” can’t have sex without consequences.
When have you ever seen people at an anti-abortion rally handing out condoms or any form of birth control?

Seriously? The only possibilities of preventing our world from becoming so crowded that it runs out of food and potable water is a pandemic, nuclear war, draconian birthing limits (like China) or (and I’m guessing this applies to a lot of the folks saying “overpopulation is not a problem”) The Rapture.
We’re at 7 billion now, and it’s getting mighty crowded and uncomfortable. What’s your plan for when it gets to 10 billion, or 15?

And here I thought feeding the burgeoning population was the number one problem of the human race.
    .
Not that it matters at this point, one way or another only those the earth can feed will survive, the rest will die.
