The utter stupidity of people! She said the N word in the 60’s after being robbed at gunpoint by a black guy. And you are a racist knee jerk overreaction angry hate filled person for this strip! I just can not believe it. What does it take for you to want someone to fail then bask in the down fall over someone? She said the N word, so what! I just do not get this! WHY?
by the way Mike, when you use the KKK out of context like this YOU FAIL!

Thank you for proving the point that the left are a bunch of knee jerk, hate filled, blinded by their own blow hard, feel good division politics.

sure, that is how I became a 2nd generation white boy to go to the oldest black college in the state. Then turn around and teach in a black inner school for a stint.

“Well what I would really like is a bunch of little n——s to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around … Now that would be a true southern wedding, wouldn’t it?”

What a lovely, lovely woman. And what a shock that conservatives are rushing to defend her.

The Klan was more a Democrat organization from its inception against the Lincoln politics of post civil war south

Um, folks, it was NOT a single word uttered decades ago. Read the actual news stories and the transcript. She wanted to put together an antebellum-style Southern wedding for clients with slaves, she wanted to name a dish the Sambo burger and had to be dissuaded by her producers — it’s a rather consistent pattern, she knew better, and she did not respond as a public figure should.
If Obama said something like this, you’d be on him like white on rice, as Southerners say…

“Says a card carrying member of the KKK.”
    Don’t know about that…
“Relax HarleyQuinn we all know you’re a racist republican, you protest too much and we all know it’s a sham argument.”
Fixed it for ya so the validity of the argument can’t be ignored for the personal attack of the moniker change. Otherwise you are correct. Not everyday or every post but HQ has demonstrated you are correct.

She has a plantation mentality, but so did Bush and Cheney.

Okay, you have posted far more specific a statement than I have heard so far. I am appalled at the modern day use of the word, but I too have said that word. When I was in 4th grade, after getting beat up by a black kid who otherwise would act like your friend. that was in 1978. Lots of things have changed since then. But if she said what you claim she said, and it is consistent with the minimal media reports I have heard, and she said it relatively recently then yes, she needs to be held accountable. But if this is something that she said a couple decades ago then it could be a different matter.
    .
Can you please provide clarification of when she was supposed to have said this? I understand it was supposed to be in connection with the wedding (or similar event) of one of her relatives and she wanted a good old fashioned southern traditional event (black “servants”). Disgusting under any circumstances in a modern civil society of equal rights, but decades ago were different times and whereas it is still repugnant that she said it, it would be more understandable and forgivable if it were decades ago.

And Democrats of that day are more akin to republicans of today. Sometime within the beginning years of my lifetime it seems the parties reversed their polarities. Democrats became the more inclusive tolerant party and the republicans hardened into intolerance, bigotry and selfishness. Nice try but when speaking of ideologies the terms Republican and Democrat are titles only. The philosophy and ideology of the parties reversed sometime in the 1960’s and the Civil Rights movements. This has been explained, demonstrated and gone over many times. But you and your ilk still try to cast dispersions by calling names while ignoring the actions that demonstrate the beliefs behind the parties of today.

    Enough about Bush and Cheney.
More junk has happened in the past 5 years. Nothing was fixed and now we have a dictator government.

The lawyer then asked if Deen had used the term in any jokes.

“No,” Deen replied, “probably a conversation between blacks. I don’t—I don’t know. But that’s just not a word that we use as time has gone on. Things have changed since the ’60s in the south. And my children and my brother object to that word being used in any cruel or mean behavior. As well as I do.”

“I remember telling them about a restaurant that my husband and I had recently visited. And I’m wanting to think it was in Tennessee or North Carolina or somewhere, and it was so impressive. The whole entire wait staff was middle-aged black men, and they had on beautiful white jackets with a black bow tie. I mean, it was really impressive. And I remember saying I would love to have servers like that, I said, but I would be afraid somebody would misinterpret.”
