    …and, Darren, in 2012 Obama had more experience in elected office than Mitt Romney. But I guess that doesn’t count, because as a secret foreigner, he wasn’t really president… the cartoon is very funny, by the way, and shows about the depth of understanding being brought to the issue. I like when Hispanic Republicans stand up and say “what we need to do is moderate our message on immigration” and the same old white guys say “No, no, that’s not it. We just need to communicate our positions better.”

    Darren, so what if Palin had more time in elected office? She was and still is far too “uninformed” to be VP. Time-in-office does not equal aptitude, knowledge and critical thinking.

    The FACT is, Obama was not properly vetted.
    Check this out – before the 2008 election, Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose were talking on NPR. Here’s what they said:

    ROSE: I don’t know what Barack Obama’s worldview is.

    BROKAW: No, I don’t, either.

    ROSE: I don’t know how he really sees where China is.

    BROKAW: We don’t know a lot about Barack Obama and the universe of his thinking about foreign policy.

    ROSE: I don’t really know. And do we know anything about the people who are advising him?

    BROKAW: Yeah, it’s an interesting question.

    ROSE: He is principally known through his autobiography and through very aspirational speeches.

    BROKAW: Two of them! I don’t know what books he’s read.

    ROSE: What do we know about the heroes of Barack Obama?

    BROKAW: There’s a lot about him we don’t know.
