Sooky Rottweiler says; There are two Acadias, one with Blue can, and one with Red Can… What? Someday I’ll run for pack leader of the neighborhood dogs!

@Sooky How is it that you can see in color? I thought dogs were color blind. What is your master feeding you?

<======Preach on brother Luckovich! Never mind that guys like Newt Gingrich and Mark Olson have done FAR worse.

Sorry, I’m more worried about zippers on body bags than on a politician’s fly.

Right you are, dtroutman - and perhaps you could also extend your concerns to the millions killed in the countries being «liberated»….

Apparently Libs in general can find almost anything else to worry about at the expense of war prosecution…I mean as long as we’re always arguing intangibles and “What If”s like D-Legend and dtroutma do…It’s obvious that legitimate wars are things that leave Libs at a loss. Which is, fortunately for them, not necessarily a bad thing.

Years ago in ‘Nam, I spoke with a village leader who said, essentially- “We don’t like either the Saigon or Hanoi “governments”- we want our kids to prosper and survive- you leave us alone, we leave you alone.” Understanding HIS perspective was more important than “ours”, and the deaths we caused were antithetic to solution.

Today, Greg Mortenson (“Three Cups of Tea”-“Stones into Schools”) is accomplishing more by working with the varied tribal groups in Afghanistan and Pakistan than any military “surge” can in that region. Our current military are starting to take to heart his message, and advice.

I’m not a “pacifist”, but our “shoot first, ask questions later” political and “foreign policy” policies under “the right” are bassackwards to solving the real problems around the world, and for that matter, at home.

When guys like Larry Craig go out to public bathrooms to play footsie with other men its okay. When guys like Mark Foley start to molest little kids, its okay. Know why? Because they are republicans.

But John Edwards has a love child and OMG! Its sacrilegious! Those liberals are out of control!

    Yeah, sure…
