    Nice to see Lester acknowledging the rise in the Stock market, if backhandedly.

    Finally someone got the name right – since the game using that kind of ball is football.

    Rise of the stockmarket is unrelated to o’s trashing our economy.

    It’s a linguistic trap! Since football was invented in England the term “American” has to be applied to the one with the oval ball. But since no American would say “American football” (I wouldn’t say “Deutscher Fussball”) there is this confusion.

    You do know that the economy in the fourth quarter actually contracted, don’t you?

    @Mr. King

    He said, “And I think that those of us who love the sport are going to have to wrestle with the fact that it will probably change gradually to try to reduce some of the violence. In some cases, that may make it a little bit less exciting, but it will be a whole lot better for the players, and those of us who are fans maybe won’t have to examine our consciences quite as much.”
    .
    This is not insignificant. The president is saying that the game is too dangerous for America’s children, certainly for his son, Trayvon, if he had one.

    The Clueless leading the Sheeple to the promised land of “Free Stuff”….(some will now have a drink)"

    - If you’ve ever driven over a public road, you’ve used “free stuff.”

    - Some of us don’t mind getting our tax money’s worth.

    - Officially, President Obama will be the best US President since FDR on 2017. Unofficially, he already is.

    It’s the usual dig: “Obama is a European-style socialist!!!”. That’s why he wouldn’t use an American, oval football but the British/German/Italian variation. Maybe it’s also a side dig meaning “Obama is so stupid he doesn’t know the difference”. It’s McCoy, he’s always saying these things in all of his cartoons. But if my first guess is correct that would be pretty deep for a TEA-party member…

    Obama’s a winner. A Good Cartoon.
