    She went on to say we need to make sure it doesn’t happen again, but the dittohead brigade doesn’t listen to reality. Maybe next time some Republicans go for another war, like the one they’ve been edging for in Iran, we’ll remember there weren’t any WMDs in Iraq after all??

    Did Lester watch the hearings, or just listen to Mt. Rush Mo afterwards. Wait wait, don’t tell me…

    @Cube. Just asking a friendly question. About LESTER’S point of view. I’ve heard plenty of the Rush to Judgments.

    There seem to be a number of people in these forums that have never had a subordinate that was supposed to be in charge of something screw up. Although Clinton is the head poobah of State and is responsible for her subordinates, that does not make her directly responsible for her subordinates’ ineptitude as concerns a specific incident.

    Who ordered a stand down and didn’t send help? Valid questions that will never be answered.
    The 2016 campaign has started, take a good, long look at the next Prez.

    Clearly, Lester didn’t understand a word she said.

    I guess the 4,000 dead because of W’s wars don’t matter to the RWNJs.

    Even the Dittoheads have abandoned those ‘facts’. Iraq DID have chem weapons, they were dismantled in the 1990’s.
    As for the uranium, even the dittoheads understand Iraq has uranium mines, and a (Swiss built) plant to convert uranium ore to yellow cake. That fact alone made the ‘Niger letter’ dubious to anyone who isn’t a blind fool.

    My better half was telling me security there was equivalent to what is in Paris where the biggest danger is rich foods.

    …that’s alot of incompetence.

    Six hundred chemical warheads and a ton of uranium? In what alternate universe did this happen in? That’s weapons-grade delusional.

    The more complete context is:
    What difference does it make AT THIS POINT (what motivated these people to kill four Americans since it is impossible to really know.)
    .
    Strange in a matter so serious how so many will manipulate and take statements out of context to score political points.

    @dtroutma

    You’ve missed the point that a military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan also serves to contain Iran. Additonally, there were large caches of WMDs found in Iraq (bio and chem) not to mention items that were turned over to Russia and possibly Syria prior to the invasion.

    BTW, I’m headed to the Afghan front in about 10 days.
