The real elephant should be; what about America makes us so violent, and yet any time some “foreigners” bring violence to us, the most violent among us call for scapegoats to punish?
As the “media” demanded the President come up with a response, and apparently solution, they didn’t dare call up the elephant today: the folks at No Rational Alternative.

I’d say a more appropriate animal analogy here is a dead horse, since mid-October.
jonesb said, 5 months ago
I don’t think that’s a GOP elephant, it’s “the elephant in the room”. The main stream media doesn’t want to ask the hard questions.

Yeah, but, isn’t it normally the “800 pound gorilla” in the room? I’m confused, linguistically and semantically…

One day, Barack Obama will have no more skirts to hide behind. Then, Barack Obama will answer for his involvement in the Benghazi murders.

Perhaps the day after Dubya answers for his involvement in the World Trade Center Murders?
There they were, Saudi nationals taking flight lessons in THIS country, yet Bush did nothing…

^That may take some time as he stands in line as other presidents answer for violence on their watch.
.
Perhaps he should also have to answer for meeting objectives in Libya with zero American deaths.

but but it was spontaneous and YouTube. Nothing to do with them chanting “Obama we are Osama” just weeks before an election. Nothing to do with the flag of an enemy that is sworn to destroy us and Israel flying flags over our places of peace in their lands. And definitely nothing to do with he dead guy ala Carter, can not have that a few weeks before an election.
It is that internet Obama would like to see the UN take some part in. And the wave of military strikes just happened out of the blue on 9 11.

I know both expressions, but “the elephant in the room” seems to be more common. (And yeah, I’m a German in Germany, too.)

Pathetically, it was drawn as an elephant instead of the 800 pound gorilla. He acts like Benghazi was the Republicans fault instead of inactions and orders to allow the riot to happen by O.

@NebulousRikulau
So before 9/11 it was illegal for people to take flight lessons? Clinton should have taken a harder stand when the truck bombing of the Twin Towers happened instead of acting like it was a kid lighting a firecracker.

@Ms. Ima
You DO know that no one takes you serious any more? Your posts here are about as digusting as spot on the bunk of a police station cell – no one dares to look to close, and those that do feel icky and filthy afterwards.
if you’re wondering: I didn’t read Ima’s posts for the last few weeks, not even the one i’m acting upon.

Oh, look; the Benghazi non-story is back again.
And again.
And again.

Krugman’s article on the rotting corpse of the Republican party seems particularly poignant at this time.
