Wow, all those 5 to 4 decisions Republicans loved when Scalia, Alito, and Thomas were burning the document, hmm.

Hey Ben, corporations are now people. That WAS intended by the Founding Fathers, right?

Political fraud at its best.
Obama will forever be remembered as the president that fraudulently forced upon us the largest tax increase in human history.
Never trust a democrat.

Where’s the outcry? He taxed EVERYONE! The lower middle class just got creamed and the poor may have their coverage denied because of the Medicare cuts.
You leftists are such hypocrits and fools for falling for this tripe time and time again.

I think Ben would support universal healthcare in the modern world.

The likes of you calling health insurance reform supporters fools is amusing indeed. If you’re only problem is the mandate that everyone must purchase insurance, you should be mad at Republicans. As several have said before, Republicans insisted on that mandate as part of a compromise.

The unions and many democrat constituents already have a excemption from this tripe and more are applying daily.Everyone will not pay just as the dems, for the most part ,don’t pay now.Look up how many of Nancy Pelosi’s constituents have been granted an exception from the healthcare law.Do you think the lazy and useles that pay nothing now are going to start paying?I doubt it.How about the illegals? The dems wrote the tax code to excempt their contributors and the easily duped so that they can get their vote.

Based on the recent SCOTUS decision, the certainties are still “Death and Taxes”.
Obama raised “taxes”. How could we have guessed?

A gift to the insurance companies, originally concocted by Mitt Romney in Massachusetts, as devised by the Heritage Foundation. Look it up.

No matter how many times you remind them they continue to ignore that very fact.

It’s delusional to think that the cost of health care will be reduced by ACA. This system will grow the size of government exponentially and the tax base to pay for it will shrink. Government here and in Europe suffer the same malady and futilely try to apply quick fixes and rhetoric to maintain their political position and placate the people. Can’t kick the can down the road any farther, it’s gone. If you think the political climate was bad now, wait till after the election. I don’t think it matter who wins, the partisanship and obstructionism will be the worst this nation has ever seen.
We are staring down the greatest challenges our country has ever faced. We need massive political change, personal sacrifice on the part of the people and a vision for the future that I don’t see anyone actively supporting. They couldn’t stand the political heat from Simpson – Bowles, which just slowed the growth of government, and nobody can envision actually cutting the size of government…

How did a tax on the 1% of Americans who can afford health insurance but don’t buy it because they’re deadbeats who don’t want to pay for what they can get for free suddenly become “the largest tax increase in history?” Conservatives truly live in a fantasy world where numbers simply don’t matter.

Awww, someone is unhappy with SCOTUS finding this CONSTITUTIONAL.
Swallow hard, those sour grapes are tough…

So maybe sick people will go see a doctor before their ailment become very serious enough to seek treatment in the ER, and much more expensive to treat. That will have a mitigating effect on the cost of health care.

@mickey1339
It won’t grow the size of government. All those not covered by their employers must give all their income (after taxes) to the insurance companies, or pay much more in taxes, or go to jail. In any case, they won’t be uninsured, and it won’t cost the government any money. Read the CBO analysis!
