Yes it would be much better to bomb the bad guys (who ever they are) immediately!! Maybe we could prove they have weapons of mass destruction. At least we would be able to declare “Mission Accomplished”

To bad he did not dither pulling out. By not keeping a small force of peacekeeping soldiers Obama caused a void, just like GW and Mit predicted. Now what was done has been lost in vain thanks to Obama’s ego and political timeline that has nothing to do with diplomacy or even reality. Berry Barney’s “I love me they love me, I just say I am sorry” “Diplomacy” has failed. Admit a strong USA was a stabilizing force! Obama’s nothing but a paper tiger over there!

Harley, the agreement between the U.S. and Iraq concerning the withdrawal did not allow for " a small force of peacekeeping soldiers". GW is the one that signed that agreement knowing that it would leave a void. It was that or subject U.S. troops to Sharia law.

Obama gets some things right. Such as the fact that IF the Iraqis want a free society NOT ruled by religious fanatics then they and they alone must stand up and fight for it.

Thank you for proving that conservatives have moments of clarity. Even if by mistake, sometimes Mr. Obama makes a correct decision.

The fact that Iraqi soldiers threw down their arms and ran away shows how well they paid attention when they were being “trained” by our troops. I am sure that, although they complained about our presence, they expected us to continue to keep the boogey-men away forever. Now that it’s time to put up or shut up……

President Obama could have negotiated an extension of the agreement had he wished to do so. Back when his withdrawal from Iraq polled well President Obama made sure to claim the credit for the withdrawal that he now blames on Bush:

False. Obama tried and failed to leave a residual force there, because Bush’s status of forces agreement required that Iraq’s parliament agree to any changes. The Iraqi Parliament is just a committed to obstruction and nihilism as our Tea Party.

GW worked with what was there and kept the diplomacy lines open. Obama has no clue! His “ideal” Is my way or no way, you will love me, I have the Peace Prize for not doing anything so why should I start now? I have this political time line that needs to be. And that is that.
And in the real world, a void opened up, just as GW and Mitt said it would. Yes GW signed a conditional agreement. Obama could not and is incapable of working with in order for those conditions to be met. And they could care less what Obama has to say, unlike GW, because Obama has no teeth, nothing, he has proven to be a leader with no back bone who is nothing but bluster and no bite!

The refinery at Baiji can become a chemical weapons facility if they decide to make the stuff.
Why do you think ISIS is trying to take the place?
    To make gasoline cost more?
Why did the LWNJ news nerds not report all the IED’s with chemical artillery projectile’s mixed in with the high explosives one’s that have been found over there during the war?
Didn’t further their propaganda line “there are are no WMD’s” is why.
It’s easy to dupe the lazy uninformed.
