You need to move to Russia. They might appreciate your twisted humor there.

Yep, just as we figured… Obama is a bottom feeder that flops around alot.

Kerry played Obama making that statement. Putin seized on it as a means of easily keeping his buddy Assad in power and unattacked by the US.
Obama just wanted an exit from the mess he created with his idiotic inability to be a diplomat and work foreign policy. He seized on it as a means of wiggling out of his own mess.
If Obama weren’t such a completely clueless amateur this whole mess wouldn’t have occured to begin with.
Putin got what he wanted. Kerry looked like a diplomat and even credible. Obama got kicked to the curb and eventually ignored by everyone involved. It’s almost as if Putin and Kerry told him “Go sit at the kiddie table, the adults are talking.”

Reuters reported ‘U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov his comments about Syria averting a U.S. military strike by turning over its chemical weapons within a week were rhetorical and not meant to be a proposal, a senior U.S. Official said on Monday. Kerry also voiced “serious skepticism” when Lavrov offered to explore the idea…’

Put that socket on your driver and spin it.

Why just that 20 seconds? It couldn’t possibly be that listening to the whole thing would lead to a different conclusion, could it?

So your spin is that it just OVERWHELMINGLY looks like O and K were dithering amateurs and Putin won? NPR says Kerry’s switch MAY NOT have been offhand? Grasp at those straws real tight, Mechanic; they’re all you’ve got.

The point is the Nobel Peace Prize winner committed himself by publicly going for bombing, and the ex-KGB officer proposed the peaceful solution.

SOMETHING tells me, if Obama had bombed the bejesus out of Assad and the 30,000 people Russia has on the ground in Syria, Ramirez wouldn’t have liked that either. Something. I got a tingle. Somehow I just know.

Well, Michael’s back to much better artwork, but maintains the same idiotic perspective on reality.

For Denis: I wrote a short story about doing long rifle work in ‘Nam, and two gals in the class didn’t like my naming the character, “Fish”. When I pointed out my nickname in ‘Nam was “Fish”, for reasons you can guess, they sorta’ freaked, when they got the answer to their question; “you mean this was real?” But more to the point you can probably realize, if not agree, in ’Nam, as in Afghanistan and Iraq, WAY too many were “fished”. Hmm, guess we should start saying those beating war drums are “phishing” given the current vernacular?

OK to get back more on point, Syria has not given up one pound of chemical weapons yet, while we failed to secure the same in Libya.

Oooohhh!! Nice Type I response by a progressive: Change the subject. TM, you can make all the irrelevancies you want but that does not change the facts. You can even use vile ad hominens on me. That too won’t change the facts.

The facts are that Obama has never been successful at anything other than getting elected. He was a failure as a lawyer for the short time he worked in that field. He was a faliure as president of the Harvard Law Review being singularly the only one to never publish anything. He was a failure as a community orgainzer where his few attempts at projects failed miserably. He was a failure as a lecturer at the University of Chicago where his student ratings plummeted like a comet impacting the planet.
He was a failure as a legislator usually voting “Present” or not voting at all on any and all legislation while producing none of his own. Yes, he was a co-sponsor of several minor bills, but that is like being present and getting your name on it too.
The man has done nothing of substance on his own. He is nothing but a perpetual slacker who talks a good game and gets elected.

Well, however it happened, he’s a pretty good president. Not perfect, but he’s been in a difficult situation since the day he was elected. This agreement on chemical weapons in Syria is the best played hand of international poker I’ve seen in a long time.

You are SO RIGHT ON. Your description of Kerry, e.g., only missed ONE adjective – that of TRAITOR. Love your last paragraph especially.

“…pretty good president..”? I think not. He has:

Presided over the worst economy since the Great Depression his entire time in office and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any better.

His foreign policy efforts have been a complete failure. From alienating friendly nations like Britain and Israel and kissing up to unfriendly ones like Argentina or Russia who then snub him anyway to being unable to make inroads with on going conflicts.

At home his inability to work with Congress is in a state that hasn’t been seen since before the Civil War.

Legislatively, he has one accomplishment: Obamacare. But, that legislation is highly unpopular and a major cause of economic disruption at home.

Obama on Syria, as I stated, got himself into that mess running his mouth then he was flopping around like a flounder for nearly a month trying to find a way out of that looming disaster.
It is just another case like his inaction on Osama Bin Laden where he put off a decision to make that mission for nearly a year dithering and worrying over potential damage to his political career if it failed.
Bengazhi, Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal, the cabinet e-mail scandal, inability to produce a viable budget, you-name-it, Obama has been a totally ineffective trainwreck.

He can run a campaign and get elected but once elected he’s as useful as a tree stump.

A better idea, let’s send the Obamanation to Russia where he’ll be their problem instead of ours.
