Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Ramirez combines an encyclopedic knowledge of the news with a captivating drawing style to create consistently outstanding editorial cartoons.
"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

What troubles me is that some people seem to think stupidity is not just a right of American citizenship, but an obligation.

Barack Obama never cleared the stupid line. And the “free to be disconnected” line is a slap in the face to the government mandated ObamaCare.

That’s what this country needs, more economic advice from a person who draws cartoons. Nice art work, poor economics, skewed history. This is not a lab experiment Michael, what happens if your plan is wrong?

If Bush had done that, it would have been front page.
I’ll bet no one on the Left knew about it until now.

Well what do you think, the most educated generation ever made created the least educated generation in a long time. I myself find myself in the middle of all that but let’s look at what that means?
Did the most educated generation make the least educated on purpose I don’t think so. Was there not enough money, no there was plenty of money. Not enough schools no after the baby boom generation there are plenty of schools.
Look at the values of all this. That is where I see the answer. The notion that everyone is special, if everyone is special then nobody is special. Kids get good grades even when they don’t deserve it and we wonder why standardized testing is needed. Truth is if we challenged kids more there would not be a reason for standardized testing.
Taking respect, hard work and yes everybody God out of the equation is what is killing us.
