    My ancestors were Cherokee, and better educated, and more religious,(yes Christians) than the Congress that shafted them and stole their land. They just didn’t have enough guns.

    Too bad the dudes on that little island that first met Columbus didn’t have a couple M-16s and a few magazines of ammunition.

    dtroutma, hey me too!! I have Cherokee ancestry too! The tribe of the “Trail of Tears” that was marched to Oklahoma. In case some of you missed it when I wrote it elsewhere, I was born and raised in Oklahoma until age eight. Lots of family back there still.

    yeah, the europeans move in - the locals played by the local rules, no one sent them the new playbook and they were at a disadvantage. now the migration is from the south but these new people already have our playbook and know the rules quite well so they now have the advantage.
