    I get the impression that Lila is Catholic and of Italian descent. I heard a comedienne describe it once as “the Jews invented guilt, but the Catholics perfected it!”

    I met my wife of 31 years in an evangelical church then grabbed her and ran out! Got sick of that hyper religious business anyway. I’m now a liberal United Methodist.

    My parents met at a church event (neither attended that church), but then again it was the late 50’s so it was more normal back then. (Neither of them are overly religious or judgmental.)
