Give him a chance. But if he says Star Wars is better than Star Trek, dump the loser.

No Witch or Magus would call himself a Warlock. Warlock was the name of an evil person during the burning time who would befriend pagans, learn their secrets and rat on them to the authorities of the “Christian” church so he could be rewarded with a portion of his victim’s property. To call a pagan a Warlock is to give him a grave insult.

That’s the kind of line I would throw out there, just to relieve the tension that Lila was feeling over making such an admission.

Christian not in quotes. I see plenty in their Bible that approves of what the Inquisition did for 400 years.

Clone Wars is better weekly than many Star Trek movies and tv shows. Just wrapped up its 5th year and counting.

Warlock is a male witch. Anything else has been added. And the bulk of the literature on them and demons etc were written by the Church in general and Christians of various types in particular.

It was much more common in the 60’s and 70’s for young entry-level male witches to refer to themselves as warlocks. I suspect that they weren’t familiar with that part of actual wiccan history and were just channeling Bewitched.
