    You don’t need their approval. That’s just trying to justify what you want. Either you will do it because you’re ready and want to, or you won’t.

    Adoption is a wonderful heartfelt gesture…why do you need approval to choose to take on a child that no one else has?? My hat is off to you ma’am.

    I would approve! My 45 year old daughter never married, but loves kids, runs a very successful day care, is adopting a new born as we speak:-) Good luck!

    OH…I see! I understand too, they need to know that someone will be willing to take care of the kid…but if it is adoption, only you may want the kid and not family so…okay. Wow…“fingers crossed” over here too sweety

    My sister adopted 4 years ago…he’s a lot of work, but a lot of joy. I cant imagine our life without him. Adoption is a generous and loving gesture.
