   IMHO, I think JWF could have left the original dates. It’d be nice to know when this actually was published. When some of their electronics (i.e. PCs, phones, etc.) and notable events (if mentioned) aren’t current, I prefer to “indulge” in the comic in it’s true time frame of the past.
   When I know certain “Lila” events (i.e. Annie, Drew’s crisis, etc.) occurred before late 2012, it seems slightly strange to see her saying it’s 2013, and she’s alone with her cat, and the other events hadn’t occurred yet. Did I over say it?

   my guess is that the dates are modified (see closely size of year in comparison with the rest of the font size). I think the writters were forced to interrupt storyline about Ann…. to save us the pain of Ann’s death. Am I wrong?

   You are wrong. JWT ran out of money for an illustrator. So Annie’s story is on hold. She is not dead. So stop making up stuff.
