Lila certainly looks like she has witnessed a ghoul…

Considering “Paranormal activity” was a over-hyped piece of garbage without a single scare, a cute puppy begging for some table scrapes would have been scarier.

I thought “Paranormal” was scary, but then cute puppies scare me, too. You just never know where they’re going to pee.

I’ve met people who told me “The Exorcist” wasn’t scary either. Those are rare people who never let their guard down so fiction is a waste of time for them. No suspension of disbelief for them. They never get in the moment.

I thought the first “Planet of the Apes” movie was very scary. I may be the only person to think so.

When I was a little kid, I was scared spitless by “The 7th Voyage of Sinbad.” Not as a grown-up! I also got over the “Night in Bald Mountain” section of Fantasia.

The banshee in Darby O’Gill and the Little People scared the hell out of me, and I thought I was too old for that kind of thing-even at age 8.

I was 23 or 24 years old before I got scared at a movie…even though I had read the book…the ending of Carrie scared the living bejeezuss out of me…

“Planet of the Apes” 1967 was frightening to me too. Seeing the stuffed people including one of the astronauts.
