    It’s not that the garden spikes are long, but that the world has deflated and become very thin. About 4 inches of dirt separate the two sides.

    Only half right. Those guys think that people only live on the part that’s rightside up. Actually, we live on both sides, and the two suns take turns being the one that’s on at any given moment.
