    Citations please…
I seem to remember that yes Joe got in trouble, but by nothing except his own doing. Or is this just more right-wing hatred of responsibility?

I see you ignored reality and facts over on Tom Toles, probably because they didn’t agree with your meme. How are these for leaks in your right-wing-hate factory’s sewage pipes, I mean propaganda outlets,

Hmm, piano guy, Boehner stands at 119 rounds in the same period Obama played 34. Not to mention Boehner’s 1010 $83,000 in green fees! Yep, right, bring up golf again.

Obama had taken 92 days of vacation as of August 15th this year. that’s about three weeks per year. Bush, on the other hand, had taken 367 days off by this time in his presidency
This issue has been discussed and refuted at length so I will simply credit those who posted facts and the truth before I did. Look it up, suck it up and STOP LYING!

You can’t stick to reality and legitimate issues, you have to bring up fake outrages? Wuerker is lambasting President Obama for cracking down on unauthorized leakers. LOOK at the ‘toon. Carefully, I’m sure you don’t know what the White House looks like, ‘cept from your propaganda pichures and such. But in the Left background Wuerker is portraying the White House as being full of leaks. If your faux “news” source wasn’t so busy lying to you all the time with their unfair and unbalanced reporting you would know that a pattern has emerged with all the leaks and who gets prosecuted. It is alleged, by others much more intelligent in matters of politics than most of us here, that you can tell if a leak is authorized or not. If the leak is not prosecuted or prosecuting it is only paid lip service, then it was authorized. If it was not authorized, as in Manning and snowden, then they get hammered hard. It is my interpretation of the ’toon that Matt is making a comment on the pattern of authorized vs prosecuted leakers.
As I have asked many times, there are plenty of legitimate issues to complain about, why do you guys always have to manufacture non-issues to lie about? Please get with the program or shut up. Your unilateral and irrational hatred is really getting old, not to mention you are just pathetic when you can’t even stick to the topic of the ‘toon or if you are replying to a member’s comment, the content of that comment.

In all of these GC forums I keep seeing Bush’s and Obama’s time spent on the golf course being compared, criticized, and condemned. What I don’t see is someone stating why I should give a rat’s patoot about how much golf these guys have played.

The war on terror, much like the war on drugs, requires many of us to give up freedom we once took for granted.

Homeland security wasn’t started by this admin, but they sure have continued it.

The Constitution guarantees that the US press is absolutely and unconditionally free to parrot whatever the US government tells them to. And only the US press is this free.

As I’ve seen the same concern you would have to ask the republicans your question. The reason I say this is because the golf issue was first raised by the conservatives, in fact they had a website tracking it for awhile. So to counter the idiocy and prove it to be a non-issue the liberals researched bush and Bohner. Likewise the vacation time was excessive by bush, but excused by the conservatives at the time. But now that there is a Democrat (DINO in reality) President vacation time is a big deal. So again the liberals researched the facts and the comparison is not favorable to the conservative’s meme. So like you I ask “Why I should give a rat’s patoot about how much golf these guys have played.” But it is a meme that keeps being brought up by the RWNJs.
And to reiterate my earlier question, “With all the legitimate issues out there, why can’t the conservatives/republicans address those instead of having to manufacture all these non issues?”

More to the point, the golf question is ONLY raised by conservatives, because they honestly think that Obama spends too much time playing golf. But they are in a glass house on this one, as virtually all conservative politicians play golf more, and take more vacations than Obama. How many days has the House been in session these past two months?

Does it seem that Republicans are sympathetic or at least quiet where Mr. Obama’s use of gov’t resources to stop media “leaks” is concerned? The NSA and the precedences of punishing the “Free Press” are tools both parties want to be able to use in restraining the freedom of journalists to do their jobs? There is a sad irony in this as the US media is a shadow of what it used to be due to its dependence on advertising dollars and the oversight of corporate owners.
Mr. Obama’s lack of transparency is one of many disappointments of his administration. The only leaks the last two administrations tolerated were those they provided. Mr. Wuerker’s wonderfully illustrated cartoon states a sad truth and one for which ALL Americans who wish to be given facts as well as opinionated ‘truths’ should be concerned.
Why is it that the only time the two parties show any cooperation is on an issue that actually increased political power at the cost of liberties.
    but Respectfully,
