I think MOST rational people miss life before “Citizens United”!
Unless you are a Zillionaire trying to buy the White House, and a matching set of Congresspeople, that is!

Was it Robert Adler or Eugene Polley who created the mute button?

Turn off the TV all together and hold family game night. Of course, you still have to put up with the negative political internet and snail mail ads.

Seeing all that green in the picture got me thinking: if elections where decided like in 1900 or so, how much of a dampener would that be to the overall economy? It has been said that the general election will come in at over one billion dollar (per side? dunno…) and that 100 year war on the republican side with – what? – 27 debates or so can’t have been cheap either. We all (even me, across the pond) yearn for a more rational fight, more positive messages, less annoyance, but isn’t all this somehow “good” for the country, in some weired way? Just thinking out loud…

Stop thinking so loud, Morty! That’s contagious! What would happen if we started thinking over here?

Jase99: MIt and the current batch of Republicans have long followed your advice 24/7, not just on game night: the game is Monopoly.

The Bundesbank is succeeding where the Wehrmacht (and the Bundeswehr, had it tried, would have) failed miserably.

Here in Billings, MT, we’ve got about 119 Rehberg signs, and about 79 Tester signs. If Tester votes with Barack 95% of the time, and Dennis gives multi-millionares, like himself, breaks, then have a write-in, they’re screwed
