Private sector up, but yes, slowly. “Public sector” down, rapidly. Next time your house is on fire, or you get robbed, or no ambulance comes after you have that heat attack, just review that lower tax bill.(But read it quick!)

Of course, if the Republicans get the White House, they will create LOTS of new jobs…especially in the Military, after we go to war in Syria, Iran, Darfur, etc…etc…etc…
Also, there will be huge growth in the repossession business, as more and more middle class Americans lose everything!

Already beginning. The firefighting effort against the wildfires in Colorado is hampered by budget issues. The U.S. of A. is toast, literally…

Zing!
And masterskrain, there won’t be any more growth in the repo business, as they’re already well-filled — as Americans decrease what little they own now, they’ll need to start laying off the repo men, too.
Or, to put it another way: what middle class?

The whole point of the business model ever since the Industrial revolution has been to replace people with machines until the lower class is no longer needed.

Another thing…if Obama attempted to try a new version of the CCC, or the WPA, to get people back to work, and help with the country’s crumbling infrastructure, who do you think would scream the loudest about “It’s a Budget Busting Proposal”, or “We need to keep the Government out of this, let private industry deal with it!”, even though they are also the ones screaming the loudest about “No New Jobs Were created! What’s Wrong with this administration??”?
Hint-it wouldn’t be the Democrats…

Nice try, but they have been that slow to respond for years.

You mean the war in Syria and Lybia that Obama already involved us in?
zoidknight said, 11 months ago
@masterskrain
Actually it would be the democrats:
1) Democrats refusing to deport all illegals.
2) Democrats signing NAFTA and not repealing it since it cost American jobs.
3) Democrats giving tax breaks to companies who send American jobs overseas.
4) Democrats increasing taxes on American Companies who do not send American jobs overseas.
5) Democrats regulating American companies out of business.

Yeah!!
How DARE they force us to breathe clean air and drink clean water!!
Oh, right. That was Nixon that did the Clean Air Act, wasn’t it?
And then GHWBush signed the update.
How DARE those Democrats regulate industry!!!

It’s all the fault of Obama and the Democrats! They have the nerve to not be Republicans!!!

All those services that you mention are provided to me by my State and local taxes, not the Federal government. Tax revenues, at least in the State that I live in, are on the rise for the 4th consecutive year. Maybe if you live in a “liberal paradise” like California you have a problem, but that’s your problem not the Feds.

@zoidknight
You mean the ones with NO TROOPS INVOLVED, and NO U.S. CASUALTIES, unlike Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan??
Yeah. Great comparison…

The federal government gives funds to states for fire, police, rescue, etc. Our local fire department (volunteer), bought it’s last fire truck with funds that included a federal government grant.
