    That’s actually an illusion. David Copperfield replaced Lady Liberty with Chris Christie.

    If you legalize the chronic, there will be a need for the Big Gulp.

    From Ghostbusters: “Nobody knows what she’s wearing under that toga…She is french, after all…”

    Like I said yesterday…maybe it’s actually a plan to raise tax revenues.
    Instead of collecting the taxes on a $.99 Big Gulp, the city and state of N.Y. will be able to collect the taxes on two $.79 “Large” drinks, so they are collecting on $1.58.
    It’s not much of a difference, but over the course of a year, thousands of times a day, it adds up.
    Of course, that dosen’t take into account the additional trash that will be generated…

    Does the new healthcare bill give free liposuction?

    ^ Lipo is used to tone targeted areas. They can’t take out more than a few pounds. If you loose too much weight too quickly, it can kill you. It happened to someone I knew who had the stomach bypass that was all the rage 5-10 years ago.

    That Idiot Bloomberg could be the poster child for why we all need smaller government!

  8. masterskrain

    @skipcarlsen

    The sad part is that whenever someone gets into office on a promise of “Smaller Government”, the first thing they do is set up a committee to look into it, which requires several sub-committees, panels, advisory boards, and the like!
    Before long you have several hundred, (or more) bureaucrats trying to figure out how to “Make Government Smaller and More Efficient!”

    I don’t think so. But it will provide for a Lobotomy for cases like you.

    My niece had bariatric surgery, and ended up losing more than I weigh, she lost 196 pounds. Her main source of that weight she had gained? Soda consumption, and high “sugar” foods. Now she eats actual “food”, rid of the “junk” and is doing much better.
