Must be a Tea party member or at least some one who spoke out against Obama or Obamacare.

Your living wage, mostly. It effects the prices of renting, leasing or owning any property, including all production, transit, storage and retail operations. It’s one of the hidden taxes that make your wages inadequate to support both you and the government. But, since it is out of sight, put it out of your mind. It is better to believe that taxes benefit the poor rather than to know that they harm them.

All I’m saying is that property tax levels vary by state and locality. For example, Texas has very high levels of property tax (while touting its lack of state income tax). CA went through Prop 13 decades ago, and school districts are still feeling the effects of it.
It’s still up to local voters and state legislatures to set (or kill) property taxes.
And so I ask again, where is the confiscatory property tax, as alleged in this cartoon?

Oh well then, it is among the elderly on a fixed income and on the poor who have managed in their lifetimes to purchase their own homes, but now find that they cannot afford to pay the taxes on their fixed income, eventually resulting in their homes being confiscated by the state for back taxes. You won’t figure things out if you try not to. Apparently, homes can now be confiscated for as little as $50 owed in back taxes.
Reality is so shocking that I have given up on it.
