   Faulty logic. Or are you seriously considering comparing handguns and semiautomatic rifles to automatic rifles, artillery, air power & nukes?
   Of course, they have funny ideas about freedom of speech over there…
   I very much look forward to your cartoon expressing your views on foods high in salt, sugar, fats or any combination of the three. Of course having done the research on the subject and not basing your opinion on emotionalism, you realize you’re 20 times more likely to die of heart disease than a gunshot, right?

   If it were up to me, I’d take away the guns.

   We need to have this out once and for all! We need to have our domestic tranquility restored!

   We need to institute GUN CONTROL NOW!

   We need to talk about it NOW! not “wait until the tragedy has passed!” NOW!
   .
   This is the Triangle Shirtwaist of the Gun Control issue!
   .
   It can be worse than this but this is far beyond “Bad Enough” such that we should have not even a question but that what needs to be done gets done NOW!

    Yeah, I think it was reacting to a mall shooting in the US a few days ago with a couple of victims. Little did Davis know the next day would bring a far worse tragedy.

    Doughfoot provided an excellent study/report on the Australian experience in gun-control.
    But there’s a fundamental cultural difference between Australia & the US, so I agree with you, nothing is going to change in the US. Until this cultural obsession with guns is addressed, expect more of the same.
