In 4 frames Matt exposes the ‘christian’ hypocrisy brilliantly. Brilliant work Mr. Bors.

Yeah, I spent every summer going to church school, every sunday at church, and forty years in the desert with Moses, and frankly, while I remember all that stuff, “christians” don’t seem to have absorbed it much. I am now atheist, mostly because of the example “Christians” have set, while loudly proclaiming their faith.

Despite your ultra-left views, I tend to like your toons Bors, but this is just stupid.

Christians actually believe in the rule of law.

The law allowing children to enter the US and not be returned was established under your previous president Harelyquinn. But why not reflexively hate your current president? It’s easier.

Hey! Guess what! According to St. Paul, who wrote a great deal of the new testament of the bible, we are ALL very large law breakers of God’s laws! Otherwise, there would have been no reason for Jesus to leave the paradise of his father’s side and come down here to die for we sinners (another term for law breakers), now would there have been? And, if you do not believe that, then you can not have taken the first step in becoming a Christian. And loving and caring about your fellow law breakers, (especially children) was number two (only after a love of God) in Jesus Christs heart and mind. And I would imagine that it saddens him even more to have his supposed followers not seem to realize that much more than it does his true followers!!

Really? Christians are humans too? I am supposed to just accept that with no proof aside from the fact that they act just like all the other humans?
That’s it. I am certainly going to head down to the deli section and speak to them about using their slicer on bologna. I intend to have my pound of flesh on the matter.
And maybe some Kaiser rolls… with the sesame seeds.

That’s what I thought, also. But there is also the matter of the prepared statement given by the downtrodden children to assure that they are given asylum, which harkens back to another law from the Clinton Administration regarding human trafficking.
In either case, though, laws are not created by the Executive branch.
Obama may be said to be guilty of selective enforcement of laws regarding the border, but since the border enforcement required by Simpson Mazzoli has been selectively exempt from enforcement since its passage, that is more water over the dam.

And the Christians attack! So “turn the other cheek” Christlike!

@Cinci Steve, If Christians are law-abiding, how do you explain the cars speeding down our street when the local church empties out on Sunday morning?

    .
I think Matt Bors accurately portrays what most modern christians think they heard.

No need to write anything down, Mr. Jesus. The Right people will know intuitively what you mean. Meant, sorry.

Jesus Christ quite explicitly violated the Jewish Law in favor of a higher law of Love Your Neighbor.

There’s a really simple solution that no one seems to consider: allow Texas to secede from the union. Then it will be their problem, with no federal money to do anything about it.

Problem solved: illegal immigrants coming into the US significantly reduced, gobs of federal money saved because we don’t have to support the state. Win-win.

" He was fulfilling the law and trying to get them to understand it is the spirit of the law, not the letter of the law that often matters most. (imho)"

Interesting. This means that almost every attorney, whose job it is to find means within the letter of the law to disembowel the spirit of the law, is going against the teachings of Jesus. And I’ll bet most of them consider themselves good Christians. Pause to ponder….
