We can’t do anything about rampant government tyrrany, but if they are also pressing their moral systems on us we will impose strict measures to limit them immediately!
Not so funny is it? Good thing they did not try to blame it on YouTube and call it spontaneous, you can only use that trick once. Nope just sweep it under the rug.
A stupid tea bagging conservative saying and believing these things.. No wonder we are in trouble..To gain security, we must compromise “freedoms and liberties” – a little… To me, a far from perfect man, NOTHING, I cede nothing , that is, my government can know 100% about me , NO skin off my nose. They can deny me my second amendment “right”, as they should.. I simply try not to be selfish.. We do need a better people and a better congress.. We need 80% participating in politics, NOT 8%.
That little reference to a 900 page bill – nobody got it here it seems. Bors is talking about the “PATRIOT” act, a bill written and passed in just 3 month. It contains a myriad of small changes to existing laws. Nobody can tell me a document of that size and complexity can be written and passed in 3 month, this was waiting in some drawer for the right moment. Michael Moore talked about it with Rep. Conyers and he said to him “Son, I’m going to tell you a secret, most of the bills we pass we don’t actually read”. And hence began the decline of the U.S. citizen’s freedom, by a cleverly named but deeply fascistic bill…

Actually, the “Bill” itself is 5 pages. The other 895 pages are Riders, Amendments, and various Pork projects…
