    Question(s) for the board: In panel one, does the “impact” on the Klingon ship “read” to you guys? Meaning, can you tell what the heck is going on there?
    And, in panels two and three, do the photon torpedoes “read” as such to you? I struggled with how to depict them, and I’m not entirely sure it worked. What I really didn’t want to have happen was have you guys think that they were stars!

    I think it’s fine…I can tell what’s going on…I think anyone who has seen the show will know what the torpedoes look like on the show.

    I didn’t “get” the second and third panels. But I never watched Star Trek. After your post, I can’t understand why I didn’t. It makes perfect sense.

    Thanks, emptydog…it is a storytelling failure at some level then, because the only info the reader should need should be in the strip. I will endeavor to do better!
