   I know it is literary license and all – but they went to a restaurant, and Marm is with them – what did they do with Marm while they were eating? Do they have restaurants that let non-guide dogs in? [can you picture him in a crowded restaurant?] Did they leave him in the car? Hope not, their local Chief Victor “Buddy” Amato will have them hauled into court. Really, you can’t even kill a squirrel in your yard without being criminally cited. Leaving your pet in a vehicle gets you jail time. ’cuz animals have feelings and rights too.
