    What a party-pooper beach. It would be more fun to play in the back yard with Marm!

    That car is so packed, if he went along it would just be him and whoever is driving.

    What I want to know is where Marm got the outfit, and who helped him put it on (since he doesn’t have opposable thumbs!)

    If he goes along who at the beach is going to tell him he can’t stay? That rule applies to other dogs, not to Marmaduke. You’d better start making room in that car.

    @JFri

    I was thinking more like New Jersey, where everything is “void in New Jersey.” You can’t even pump your own gas there!
    I’ve seen dual water fountains in a California park – the bottom fountain is for dogs.

    Dukie can go anywhere he wants.
    The beach officials wouldn’t DARE try to throw him out!!!

    I can’t help it but noticed that their car has the license plate saying " DAW-MUG".

    Awwwwwww! Let him come. I wonder if he runs into Odie at the beach in today’s Garfield!

    Where did Marm get his sandles and how did he get them on? He sure looks good though!

    Dewey Beach, Del., dogs are allowed on the beach before 8:30 a.m. and after 5 p.m.
