By John Zakour (writer) & Scott Roberts (artist)
Maria is a kid who sees things her own way- and expects the world to see it her own way too! Her friend Joey is more practical. He helps keep her grounded, though that’s as easy as handling a Thanksgiving balloon in a hurricane. Sue is special and she knows it- better than anyone. She’s writing her autobiography now, but she’ll live it later. Bob takes things slower. Ms. Payne is their teacher- she enjoys her job, she truly does. She’d enjoy it even more without the students.

Only Bob, though. The others are still behind it.

According to one old story, Tina Louise thought that Gilligan’s Island was going to be her show. Either they hadn’t told her the title, or she didn’t make the connection.

Also interesting about Gilligan’s Island is that only Dawn Wells made a lot of money off its popularity. All the other actors only got residuals off the first four reruns only, but her agent who was also her husband insisted she get them for a much longer term. CBS agreed because they were sure the series would sink faster than the SS Minnow did. She has made millions of dollars because of this clause.

We figure if Beetle Bailey and Andy Capp can see- and it’s implied that they can- then certainly Bob can. He sees, but he doesn’t always understand.
