a couple tips:
shuffle and work the cards well before doing this, you want them to be able to slip and slide over each other really well for this.
2. hold your hand with the ‘magnetic finger’ at a slight angle to the deck. you want that little finger to make contact with the fleshy part of the finger … not the part with the nail.
3. i guess if you had to you might could rub that little finger tip on wax [candle or magicians] to make it grip a bit better.
