MAC’s tinkering habit got slightly out of control. He was a handyman to neighbors and friends, one thing led to another and now he’s a (self-described), land baron. More a corporal than a captain of industry, he believes he’s in charge of his own destiny. His wife, daughter, dog, tenants, and practically everyone else in the world has a different, and occasionally sympathetic understanding of his foibles. Follow him as he copes with a disparate collection of daily challenges with droll aplomb.

I agree. Plus, you can milk a nanny goat. We had a horse for several years, and never mowed the lawn. Unfortunately, middle daughter tied Rosie too close to the garden one morning. Would have rather sold the kid and kept the horse, but the state has some funny laws.
