I used to hide my dog’s pill in a piece of cheese and somehow she managed to find and spit out the pill.

And with a cat it is worse, they usually snub the entire thing.

It’s really funny how they can do some things very well, without thumbs!

No kidding! My guinea pig actually holds down his romaine and carrots with his little paw :P

I sorta got grossed out to discover that our guinea pigs were refecatory (good luck on finding the word anywhere – it means “the eating of one’s own feces”)

They do that because their digestion is so poor the miss out on nutrients. Rabbits do it too.

To those who try to give their pets medicine:ever try grinding the pills?

Hehe, yep, my little guy does it all the time. My family and I used to take the “pellets” away from our first guinea pig, but, fortunately, learned they’re supposed to eat them. That’s right, Night G. It is kinda gross when they then try to lick you :P

The mouth on us and a guinea pig are the dirtiest in the body. Yes dirtiest.

Some pills should not be ground, you can kill an animal by grinding some pills.

As for the eating feces, the word is Coprophagia. The reason you can’t find refecatory is exactly because it’s not a word.

Well, if you want to get technical, they aren’t actually eating poo either. Instead of refecatory, maybe refectory, as in communal dining rooms? Kinda on the right track :P
