First rule of married life: Never miss a good opportunity to shut your piehole.

Turns out the bump in the road was just the fold in the map…

She’s resilient. Brad doesn’t need to call 911 and commit her to the hospital. But the two of them need to do something about Jonah.

Such a happy strip today! In many good marriages the partners through the decades wind up saying to friends that they are unsure why their spouse has been able to put up with them for so long, and they regularly are amazed by their good fortune. I see both Brad and Toni each doing some of that today.

Brides and grooms all start out as dunces. The ones that last allow for a learning curve—and do learn.

It’s quite understandable. Everyone has days where events can overwhelm a person and they just need to take a breath and relax.

Toni still needs to put the brakes on Brad’s over-sized wedding ideas. He’s getting out of control. A big wedding doesn’t guarantee a good marriage.

It’s easy for someone who is outside of a situation to tell someone else to refuse to take care of a child on short notice. Then when something happens to the child because the adult actually responsible didn’t act responsibly, what will the outsider say other than “Toni should have taken Shannon that day”.

So the union will still go forward as expected, but the issues causing the stress are still unaddressed…

I’ve been saying since this happened they Toni should NOT have taken Shannon. Did you read my posts?

I have this feeling that Toni not blow up, but instead will suggest something that will be equitable in this situation. Cooler heads prevail…

Somehow I thought Derek would come driving by with a “Hey Babe, hop in” and that would be the (merciful) end of the (hot) Toni Daytona (lame) Brad Degroot story line. Oh well, one can only hope.
