    They must think that Frank and Nancy have a groovy time machine. They also probably think that it’s easy to operate. All they have to do is just “open the door”…

    I feel like half the time I see Nancy, she’s doing laundry. Must have a lot of funky old clothes to wash!

    Do college kids go trick or treating these days? Things really have changed since my college days…

    @argythree

    To be honest, they like to go to stores to buy clothes that are half off (and not in price) just to go to parties with skimpy wear… especially this time of year….

    No wonder Bernice keeps needing to study at college, she spends her weekends at Luann’s house. Bernice, you’re paying a fortune to live on campus, make some friends there and enjoy college! Invite Luann to come up, but please, don’t waste time constantly driving home. You need to be making new friends right now.

    Yeah. No parent or any other adult wants to think that they’re somehow “out of date” in any way. I can understand not wanting to dress in your parents’ style, but still. . .

    @seyleigh

    Things really have changed, then. I know none of us wore costumes to class way back then (unless the ever-present jeans and T-shirt counted as a costume…)

    In fact, just thought about an example of that, what I was mentioning. Saw a news item last week or so, that they were coming out with “Frozen” costumes for adults (including college kids) for this time of year….
